On Guest Magazine, a focus on the role of San.Co and its flagship product, the fire rated wooden doors, in the renovation project of the Lutetia hotel in Paris. The renovation of the iconic ville lumiere hotel, by the architectural firm JMWilmotte, was one of the most important projects in recent years in the world of international luxury hotels. A significant intervention that lasted 4 years with a cost of up to 200 million euros.

San.Co, a brand of Zanini group, specialized in the supply and design of fire and smoke-proof solutions, was the reference partner in this specific field for many top-level suppliers involved in this project. International level contracts such as Poliform, Tino Sana srl and Paolo Castelli, who have chosen San.Co's experience and technology for the supply of wooden fire doors for corridors, common areas and the SPA area of the Hotel. Furthermore, the fire doors supplied for the project not only feature fire-break technology but also smoke-proofing, an increasingly sought-after element in projects related to the hotel industry. In fact fire doors for hotels or in any case for public places have ever higher safety standards and are regulated by very demanding legislation. Specifically, more than 100 fire doors were supplied: mainly Isofire LZ58.60.39, with certified fire resistance for 60 minutes and noise reduction of 39 dB; the Isofire FM30, with certified fire resistance 30 minutes, and the Isofire LZ60 V&V. All door types are DAS certified with PV Efectis. Regarding the finishes, veneer, HPL and TSS were chosen according to the preferences of the various Contracts.

Not only that, the company was directly involved also during the planning phase with the architect Wilmotte, thanks to his years of experience and his knowledge in the branch of fire regulations. Furthermore, San.Co directly maintained, in the executive phase, the technical relationship with the Bureau de Controle appointed by the final customer for the fire prevention project.

A complex and very demanding project that saw San.Co both as a supplier and as a consultant in the field of fire prevention, and that allowed the company, once again, to demonstrate its high competence and reliability for leading international projects.
