Foreign investors focus on Italian hotels. We are working to restart in 2023
More and more foreign chains are looking to Italian structures because the beautiful country is still considered very attractive as a tourist destination, despite the pandemic and strict restrictions.
This is said by Pkf hotelexperts
, which brought together over 60 important Italian and international stakeholders including hotel groups, hoteliers, investors, developers, design studios, public and financial institutions and companies in the sector, highlighting that the value of investments in Italy in 2020 amounted to around one billion euros
, while for 2021 the estimate is to reach 1.5 billion
The internationalization of the structures has been confirmed by those who work closely with hotels around the world; this is our Michele Chemolli
, managing director of San.Co Costruzioni Tecnologiche Spa and National market development manager of Zanini Italia companies that install fire doors and create customized technological solutions in hotel facilities strong>, both for the rooms and for the common rooms. Managers are paying more and more attention to the acoustic aspect and to the fact that the door must be increasingly an integral part of the room management system, starting with access control. In terms of materials, on the other hand, wood is making a comeback .
The projects we are working on are mostly foreign brands . In particular, the trend is to detect hotels and historic buildings that are purchased to be used as hotels. These are very high profile projects that follow other operations already started in recent years.
