In Santuario della Verna, a historic sanctuary a few kilometres outside Chiusa della Verna in the province of Arezzo, in the heart of Tuscany, San.Co supplied doors with different levels of performance for a renovation project, demonstrating the company’s proven ability to provide solutions adapted to clients’ requirements.

San.Co technology permitted improvement of the safety and appearance of the sanctuary, one of the world’s best-known sites dedicated to St. Francis.

The sanctuary is built on the site where St. Francis of Assisi received the stigmata on September 14, 1224 and is almost entirely surrounded by a silvery forest of beech trees, making the mystic path to the sanctuary even more beautiful.

The doors supplied are:
  • LZ 30.35 EI30' Rw 35dB single solid wood doors, the principal features of which are 30 minutes of flame resistance and 35 decibels of noise reduction.
  • LZ 58.60 single glass doors: very natural doors varnished with a water-based product, highly customisable and offering a high level of safety, with a flame resistance of 60 minutes.
  • LZ 00.35 non-fire resistant Rw 35dB solid soundproofed single doors, simpler but still highly customisable.
